I design how
people learn.
I started as an architect. These days the structures I build are made of learning, and I'm building toward research next.
Architect and engineer by training, educator by practice, researcher by direction. Ten years across construction, authority coordination, ERP, and higher education. I build things that stand: buildings, systems, and the way people learn.
Three chapters, one instinct: structure.
My path hasn't been a straight line, and that's the point. I've built physical structures, learning structures, and now I'm building toward knowledge ones. Read it top to bottom and it holds together.
Architecture, construction & authority
The work I'm proudest of and would return to. Design, construction delivery, and getting complex projects approved across the UAE's toughest authorities.
Teaching & coaching
University courses, studio teaching, and one-on-one coaching. Where I turn a decade of doing into other people's growth.
Research & academic leadership
A conference talk on curiosity in design, a master's grounded in research, and a clear direction toward a doctorate and a professorship.
My real strength is delivery, not just drawings.
Anyone can produce a nice render. The harder job is getting a complex building through the UAE's regulatory maze and onto the ground, on standard and on record. As an authority architect and engineering consultant, that's exactly what I did, across aviation, hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.
I coordinated submissions and approvals, reviewed architectural, structural, and MEP documentation, verified IFC packages, and ran QA/QC so problems got caught before site, not after.

Villa community
A modern community of white-and-timber villas arranged around shaded courtyards and green walkways.

School
A bright, colour-blocked school designed to feel open and welcoming to young students.

Apartment complex
A residential complex built around a central courtyard and water feature, balancing privacy with shared space.

Office tower
A curved glass tower with planted terraces stepping up the facade, bringing greenery into a dense skyline.
Senior Supporting Neighbourhood
My graduation project. An age-friendly neighbourhood designed so people can grow older without being sent somewhere else to do it.
Five zones work as one: healthcare, a nursing home, a community centre, a sports complex, and residential buildings. Grounded in real analysis of UAE elderly facilities.

I turn a decade of doing into other people's growth.
I teach the university's first-year experiential learning course (RIT 365: Connections), where each cohort of 200-plus students learns to reflect on their progress, build the competencies employers want, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and connect their first year to where they're headed. I also teach mathematics, design, and digital media, and I coach students one-on-one.
I teach the way I wish I'd been taught. Education isn't something students use for one semester and forget. It's a foundation they carry into every job, every decision, and every hard conversation for years, so I build for that, not for the exam.
My classrooms are learner-centered and curiosity-driven. I give real structure, then step back so students can explore, get things wrong, and build genuine confidence in their own judgment. I care about the process as much as the final piece, because knowing why you made a choice is what makes the skill portable.
I bring in the tools that matter now, including AI-assisted workflows, without letting them replace fundamentals, originality, or ethics. And I show up as a mentor, not just an instructor.
Learner-centered
Students learn most when they're exploring and reflecting. I guide, then get out of the way.
Process over product
From first research to final piece, so they understand how and why, not just what.
Mentorship, not lectures
Encouragement, accountability, and perspective when someone needs it.
What comes out of my studios
The work below is the outcome of the courses I run, made by my students from first idea to finished piece.
3D Modeling & Visualization
RIT Dubai · New Media DesignStudent workModeling, texturing, and lighting 3D worlds, from character props to full environments.

Photography & Visual Storytelling
RIT Dubai · New Media DesignStudent workComposition, light, and narrative, using the camera to tell a story and document space.

2D Design & Illustration
RIT Dubai · New Media DesignStudent workComposition, mark-making, and digital illustration, building visual fundamentals from the ground up.

Digital Art & Multimedia
IBTE DubaiStudent workDigital collage and multimedia, where students find their own visual voice.

Curiosity, turned into research.
The next chapter sits where teaching and research meet, building knowledge, mentoring people, and studying how organizations and learners actually change.

ERP for small businesses
My master's research, into what actually decides whether an ERP rollout works for a small business, and what quietly makes it fail.
A mixed-method study built on a survey of 176 SMEs, turned into strategies owners can use. It's where my research questions about people and technology first took shape.
Reopening the Wunderkammer
A talk on bringing the old cabinet of curiosities into the design studio as a way to teach curiosity-driven storytelling. Built for Gen Z learners, with Schön's reflective practice and Bruner's narrative thinking underneath.

I'm looking for the right doctoral program in education, where I can research how people learn to work with new technology and how that shapes their wellbeing. My master's work on ERP adoption is where those questions started.
ICF certification
Formalizing a coaching practice that's already 350-plus sessions deep, with credentials from the International Coaching Federation.
Toward a professorship
Building toward senior learning-and-development, teaching, and research roles, where teaching and research feed each other.
Where it all came from.
The short version of ten years, with what I actually did in each seat.
Teaching & Coaching Experience
Industry Experience · Architecture & Engineering
Let's build something worth keeping.
Open to roles in architecture and authority coordination, learning design and academic coaching, and research, remote worldwide or here in the UAE. If you're building something thoughtful, I'd love to hear about it.
