I have developed a learner-centered, process-based approach to teaching. I believe students learn most effectively when they are actively engaged in exploration, iteration, and reflection. I encourage independence, curiosity, and critical thinking, while providing structured guidance that supports students as they develop confidence in their abilities.
I guide students through clear stages of development, from research and ideation to experimentation, refinement, and final production. This approach allows students to understand not only what they create, but how and why they make creative decisions. Regular feedback, critique, and reflection are integral parts of my teaching strategy.
My teaching integrates digital and media tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, and emerging AI-assisted workflows to ensure students are prepared for contemporary media environments. I emphasize efficiency, purpose, and thoughtful decision-making over trial-and-error alone.
I strive to be a supportive mentor as well as an instructor. The influence of my own mentors continues to guide my professional values, and I aim to offer students the same sense of encouragement, accountability, and long-term perspective. I believe in education not only as the transfer of knowledge, but as a transformative process that shapes how students think, create, and contribute meaningfully to society.

My academic and professional journey has been non-linear, shaped by diverse roles, freelance work, and practical experiences alongside formal education. This has informed my understanding of the realities students face, including balancing work and study, translating academic learning into real-world applications, and navigating uncertainty about future careers.
Growth Through Challenges: Each transition between architecture, engineering, education, and technology consulting has taught me the value of adaptability and continuous learning. Moving from designing age-friendly communities to implementing ERP systems might seem disconnected, but both require understanding human needs, systems thinking, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Learnings: I've learned that technical expertise alone is insufficient – effective communication, empathy, and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible language are equally crucial. My experience volunteering at a community school taught me that education's impact extends far beyond the classroom, shaping how individuals approach lifelong learning.
The most significant growth has come from embracing interdisciplinary approaches. Architecture taught me spatial thinking and user-centered design; engineering management provided systems perspective and analytical rigor; teaching refined my ability to mentor and inspire; while digital transformation work keeps me current with emerging technologies.
